You need Yahoo! Messenger version 8.1 or above to use this vista voice fix.

First of all, you need to completely close and exit Yahoo! Messenger by right clicking on the YM icon in the system tray and then click Exit. Then, follow these steps:

1. Download tsp codec intaller from here and SAVE it to your computer(This is important, do not choose open!)
2. Right click on tsp_codec_install file, and select “Run as Administrator”. Let it installed.



3. Right click the Yahoo Messenger icon on your desktop and select Properties
4. Under the Compatibility tab, check the box “Run this program as an administrator”




5. Click OK
6. Run your YM as usual. It’s time to test the voice chat.
