Here is the steps to show all the hidden files and folders in windows explorer for Windows Vista:

1. Open Computer ( My Computer) from windows start
2. From the upper menu click “Organize” and then “Folder and Search Options”



3. Under the “View” tab , check on “Show hidden files and folders” option



4. Click OK
